Assos use Volkano,a proprietary textile that faces in with silky-smooth compression and faces out with abrasion resistance, UPF 50+, and a rich, matte black color. Mineral Tec incorporated into the yarns grants permanent odorControl.

ENGINEERING

rollBar: A patented bracing design adapted from the Racing Series. Stabilizes the insert and locks it in place as your weight transfers while sprinting, climbing, and cornering.

PILtec Plug-In: A lightweight, ultrabreathable textile band across the leg opening. The microdot silicone treatment is invisible from the outside but stabilizes fit and maintains grip while wet.

zeroPressure Waist: A soft, highly elastic waist construction that improves comfort and hold at the waist, minus any pressure or pinching.

GTS S11 InsertBr>Shock-Absorb Damping System Twin: A dual-layer, 13mm construction of fast-drying, high-density foam materials in an endurance cycling platform. One layer absorbs shocks, the other damps micro-vibrations.

3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

kraterCooler: Perforations in the inserts’ leading edge draw intercooling air to maintain breathability and a dry, cool microclimate.

whirlKrater: Perforations strategically distributed throughout the insert, creating a whirlwind of cooling airflow instead of just a unidirectional breeze.
